| 1:02 am | Now that I've managed to get rid of my double, I can get back to the things that're actually important. Like running the university. At least Kali accepted the job offer, though, so I don't have to follow her around and pout at her. She knows I'd do it, too. There are a few other people that I'm trying to recruit to the faculty. I don't know how successful I'll be, but I'm nothing if not determined. ( Private to Suzie ) Current Mood:  accomplished |

| 6:26 am | The weekend was uneventful. All I did was hire a new professor, but I think that alone made it a productive weekend. Of course, now there's the backlash with students disapproving of her before she's even started teaching. Way to go, Vorna, new faculty record! But I wouldn't have hired her if I weren't confident in her abilities. Contrary to what some people think, I do take this damn job seriously. It's my personal life, save the parts that involve my family, that I don't take seriously. If people don't like it, they can... what's the phrase... bite me, I believe it is. Current Mood:  awake |
